This is my customisation of Michael Pollock’s Solostream 3-Column 1.0 WordPress theme.

Cyprus is a hot and sunny mediterranean island, which I’ve tried to reflect in the colour scheme I’ve used.

How did I do it? To preview the changes I used the Firefox Plugin ‘Firebug’ and to help with choosing the colours, I used swatches from ‘Adobe Kuler’.

Thanks Nigel, that’s really interesting. I’ve never used Adobe Kuler or that Firebug plugin, but I’ll check them out now.
