WPRemix 2.0

R.Bhavesh, the prolific creator of the PremiumThemes.net marketplace, has updated his ambitious WPRemix theme with a new look, extra functionality and lots of additional templates.

WordPress 2.6

I’ve just upgraded this site’s WordPress installation to version 2.6 (codenamed Tyner). I was hoping that a bug in v2.5 which had been affecting custom fields was fixed (it is), and I was curious to see what else has been improved. So far I’m impressed with the new plugins view (active/inactive/recently active), and the expanded image upload window (though I’d still love to be able to upload multiple images in Safari). I love the inclusion of a word counter, and I’m also looking forward to using the booklet for quick tumbleblog posts.

I’d delayed upgrading my other WP sites to 2.5 because I was reluctant to spend time on removing any incompatible plugins, etc., but now I’m thinking about bringing them all up-to-date to take advantage of these new features and improvements.
