Visual is a gorgeous news / magazine theme for news portals, subject-related blogs or even prolific personal blogs.

The theme gives a feeling of spaciousness while providing a great deal of content.

My favourite features are the article carousel which appears on the homepage, archives and single pages, plus the tab-based separation of content and comments in the single posts.
