ThemeShift’s second Real Estate theme, deCondo, is a clean and elegant theme for property agents or agencies. Postcard

MyReviewPlugin

Installation & Set-up

Mark Edwards, the creator of MyReviewPlugin, kindly gave me a copy of the plugin to try out. The download folder contained three pdf documents providing installation instructions and general guidance on getting the most out of the plugin, three pre-configured WordPress themes, MyReviewPlugin and its three companion plugins (more on those later).

Installing the plugins and themes was quick and easy, only requiring me to add my personal license code to a configuration file before uploading everything to the usual wp-content folders before activation.

The first time that you use MyReviewPlugin you’re shown a quick start page. This page enables you to quickly add rating categories and to add automatic embedding of rating elements to your theme if required (not necessary if you’re using one of the provided themes).

Alternatively, if you’ve already been using another review plugin such as WP Review Engine, WP Review Site or WF Review you can easily import your existing data into MyReviewPlugin via the included script.

You can also easily manage ratings categories and create preset rating groups, which are invaluable when combining different types of products on a single website.

To help you to quickly set up your review posts, you may even apply editor ratings or custom field data in bulk to the posts of your choice.

MyReviewPlugin provides 19 different choices of rating image, including stars, checks, hearts and pluses in a range of colors, which are selected via the main settings page.
